tmr will be the last day of imh postinggg! YAY-ness. haha,i will miss doing arts and crafts, puzzles and learning how to play mahjong with the patients though. hehe. most importantly, watching my chinese drama with them. haha, imh posting is really a nice and relaxing one. you have to overcome some fear initially ^^
next up will be my o&g posting. i hope it ill be as brisk as this current posting except that, i won't be with my friends. :( it's okay. it will just be for 2weeks and comes year3! woohoo :DD somehow,i'm excited for school. will get to meet isk almost everyday. oh well, that is if our timetable don't clash ^^
btw,i got an A for this posting. hehehe,my CI is awesomely awesome! i like him. haha. boyfriend fetched me from work. and that totally turns my day around ^^ was impatiently waiting for the clock to strike 3 to mark the end of my morning shift. adding to that, boyfriend bought me churros! awww,i lovelovelove my boyfriend. heh, head to cck. we had an impromptu plan to catch a movie. an action movie to be exact. we catch world invasion. it's definitely better than sucker punch. haha.and homeeeee.
p/s: it's the little efforts you make that touches my heart, baby.
i love sundays! cause it's family day :) heh,as usual we went for dinner and roamed around vivo. it's simple but meaningful. love every moment spent with them ^^
it's difficult to get ayah to smile and pose for the camera yknow!
i'm done with my first week of attachment over at imh. HAHAHA! no doubt,in the beginning, i was afraid to mingle around with the patients. but after 2 to 3 days, i overcome my fear. we played games and do simple exercises together :) left with another 3more weeks of attachment before schools officially starts.
speaking of which,my results was very much satisfying! alhamdulilah. my report slip was filled with As and Bs. woohoo! ^^ happy sangat sangat :DD and most importantly my GPA improved. now,i can think of getting bonded. heh.i'm still considering which hospital to be bonded with.
my new timetable is fine i guess. hehe. and my elective module is health informatics(HI). LOL. adding to it,i'm in the same lecture and tutorial as my boyfriend for HI ^^
and yesterday,i met my YEP mates! so much of talkinggggg and hot juicyyyy news! HAHAHA,such a bitch yknow! :p apparently we need to act as casualties for ttsh. i was pushed from trolleys to trolleys from wards,to OT and to x-ray. a naiseeeee experience indeed.
i got to meet suffian after almost 3weeks of not meeting! hehe, miss him. head to town with fir and fiza. and we watched sucker punch. seriously,it's not my type of movie. i have never like action movie. plus the plot is confusing. it's a nice movie for those who are into actions. soon, fiza and fir head to far east while suffian and i to taka. had churros! and we were walking aimlessly. soon, found ourselves at bugis then marina and esplanade and clarke quay. before suffian finally suggested that we go to IKEA. he wanted to see some wardrobes for his new house. and homeeeeee :)
hello singaporeeee! kay,i'm back, after spending 2weeks at bacolod. i have become so much darker :/ nevertheless,i really enjoyed myself there. the hands-on experience really teaches me to be grateful for what we have here. many a times we take things for granted. the people there, appreciate every little thing given to them. bacolod is a city of smiles. their smiles are genuine.
i love the simple life there. it's not hectic. it's very calm and peaceful unlike here in singapore. the people are friendly and they never fail to smile :)
i was there for YEP (youth expedition programme). we got the opportunity to help the villages build their houses. for once we felt like those bangla workers; working under the hot scorching sun! hahaha! carrying the heavy sacks of sand and mixing the cement really made me get out of my comfort zone. i never knew i was capable of carrying those sacks. hee, great accomplishment!
^^ not only that, we also painted the houses. hahaha,i never paint my house cause it's my dad's job. it's not easy as what it seems like. tedious i would say.
we were also given the chance to impart our first-aid knowledge to the villages. we taught them simple bandaging and cpr. you should have seen how eager they were to learn new skills. i am so proud of them. we also assisted in the circumcision which was done in the village. it was such a gore experience for me. it was very unsightly and painful. eewww!
interaction with the kids over at the school was fun! they are so adorable and lovable. we dance to jaiho as for our cultural performance. we really enjoyed ourselves. besides working together with the community, we also had some time for ourselves. we did shopping, sight-seing and also went to the resort. the dipping pool was naise! ^^ the few dancefloor we had at bacold was the best i ever had! we dance like nobody's business. feels so stress-free. i likeeeeee!
enjoy the pictures :) more on fb.
